Eddie Alcazar

Eddie Alcazar is an American Film Director, Writer, Producer and Game Developer.

 In 2002, he was the winner and sole recipient of a worldwide art and design competition receiving a scholarship to the Academy of Art University, where he studied VFX and Animation Film Theory. After one year at the Academy, he was recruited to work on Electronic Arts Medal of Honor series. He then went on to form a digital content creation boutique working on over 30 game titles.

Alcazar has since turned his attention full time to writing and directing feature films and commercials. He was named one of the 25 up and coming faces in Hollywood by Filmmaker Magazine and in 2012, he was named one of the best new directors in America by Shoot Magazine.

Other projects include the experimental piece “Versace Bright Crystal” and award-winning and AICP Shortlisted commercial “Everlast Astral.” Alcazar’s first feature film is the Sci Fi Drama 0000. He directed the documentary TAPIA with Executive Producer 50 Cent for HBO, and is also directing the feature film on World Champion Boxer Johnny Tapia entitled JOHNNY which was accepted to the Sundance writers Intensive lab. His latest commercials include the 3 national spot campaign for TaylorMade and is currently collaborating with Flying Lotus on a visual experience.
